Episode Notes

Life sure seems unfair when we feel we are forgotten,

At some point we realize the whole darn apple's rotten.

Left to our devices we may never live to see our world,

Left to others whims we are as well trapped as their plan's unfurled.

Slightly overrated is the drive to be the most we can, it takes a plan to see how we have failed to release our hand,

Crushed between the gears of others making, and the fears for others taking, as we lose the ground we desperately held, thought we had found.

No Man is an island, and the silent become pawns for other's plans, we take a stand, and we are cut right down. The way of Man.

Every time we smell a flower, stop to smile at a stranger, we are that much better off. That much more involved in the creation of our own structure of reality, as the world spins, on, some things only we can see.

Hard times come to all people, in one form or another, and no matter how well you know yourself, or your brothers, you can only see what you are meant to witness for the moment, like a paper stuck to a cyclone fence, edges flapping in the breeze, disintegrating and disappearing beyond the trees.......

With such ease, it seems that some people have it all figured out. We see their health, we see their wealth, and deep within ourself, there is a yearning, a burning, to make the most of our lives, not merely to survive. To find our spark is to make our mark, imperative to conjure our passions from the deepest recesses of our cobweb brains.

And what remains, when all else is stripped away from the structure of society, is the illusion that we have any control at all. We may fall, and it may or may not be our own fault. We persevere, but why? We know not where we come from, nor where we go. Reality is nothing but a show, each actor playing blindfolded, no script, no fame, how lame. But Wait!

 There is also Hate!

Something which makes me irate, our fate is intertwined with how we treat the world that gave us life. All the strife that we fight through, only to be judged by YOU? Ha.

No thanks. I'll pass. I know what it looks like when I meet an ass. Some folks can't be reconciled, but for awhile, I entertain their notion of their big, smart brain. Even when it causes pain to my own psyche, I'll confess some people I just cannot guess, intentions or how they survived, past the tender age of five.

Woah is we, society, complaining about their neighbor's tree, and how the branches just might cross the border of our precious lawn- HOA's do represent the worst of who we have become, ideas that we keep the grass to just 2 inches, and claiming gardens are dumb.

Who needs to grow their own food, when grubhub can provide? How RUDE!!  Don't you dare walk on my lawn, it's just for show, so walk around, I have no patience for you clowns who think yards are meant for walking on and planting things in, what are you, HUMANS? How gross.

So let's TOAST! To being arrested on your own lawn, and bowing down to  be a pawn, to those who are conotrol freaks, a society plagued by far too many laws and no protection, for the folks who pay the bills for governors elections.

So what exactly is this plan you speak of? you may ask myself.

Why should I accept that we are robbed of freedom and our health?

We are not just victims, but also we're participants,

In building our own prisons for a few to have more wealth.

---

This may seem like I am taking issue with the state of life, nothing could be further from the truth.

Life itself is hard enough when we are playing by the rules, harder when it costs a thousand dollars just to fix one tooth.

---

Qualified immunity for those we pay to protect our freedoms, and serve the public. There is no accountability for those who commit murder so long as they wear a badge, as if that means they have good judgment. Politicians who steal from public coffers, then find a scapegoat so they face no music.

Corporations. Billionaires. Leaders. Politicians. Public Servants.

What good are they if the people are not free?

What is a system, and who is protected? The whole thing's absurd and quickly rejected; when one has the wisdom to see truth from fiction, it's partially freeing and partly depressing, grievance redressing was never considered a simple endeavor like cleaning a gutter.

Cutting you down like hot knives through butter.

The rich they get richer, the poor they get kicked off the street where they live because having a home,

is becoming a novelty, so leave folks alone.

I've grown in this world, seen a few things,

Eaten the mushroom, collected those rings,

The games that we play in this strange reality

Acting superior, pretending we're kings......

Find your own path through the chaos of life,

Reflect on all aspects, the love and the strife,

Live for today and respect what we know to be

True even though we have little to show, you see,

When it comes to proving ourselves and our thoughts,

We often fall short of the truth that we sought;

Never fear losing what little we have just as

Long as we focus on what we were taught.

  What were we taught again?
